House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Thursday voiced support for trying to make progress on the music industry's call for musicians to be paid when their music is played on AM and FM radio stations.

The music industry is pushing lawmakers to pass performance rights legislation, which would require AM and FM radio stations to pay musicians a fee when their music is played on the air.

In todays show Michael trys to sort it all out.

Times are tough all over and in these days of not having all the money we used to we sometimes have to make adjustments. More and more of us are turning to store brand products or generics to save money and hopefully not give up quality.

Generic products are selling better now that at any time in our history. There are store popping up across the country like Aldi that sell mostly store brand products.

In this episode Michael talks about the quality of some of these products and tells you his favorite cold remedy.

Rhienhart “Myck” was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1924 and started barbering in 1947. He served his country in 1942 thru 1946, serving in the CCC camps and the Air Corp.

Myck moved to Florida in 1959. His first shop was in Ozona in 1960. In 1961 he opened his second shop in Dunedin on Union Street and Milwaukee. This is where I first encountered him in 1965. He cut mine and many of the kids at my schools hair there for years. I remember once when my dad told me I MUST have my hair cut short, Myck cut it the way I wanted to then wrote my father a note explaining how my hair needed to be cut this way because of the way my ears were aliened. Myck retired in 1984.

Myck decided that retirement wasn’t for him and went to work for the Sunset Point Barbershop in 1998. Since then once again he has been my barber. Cutting my hair and attending to my grooming. His touch was magic and his wit was incredible. Many years ago much to his mothers dismay, Myck gave my son Jaime his first flattop. I remember well how Jaime who was about ten, sat and smiled as Myck slowly and precisely turned my long haired little boy into a very handsome young man.

There was usually people waiting in the chairs for their turn for the Myck experience,(he had quite a following) but he never hurried. He took his time and made absolute sure that when you walked out of the shop you looked and felt your best.

In his later years he took up painting as a hobby. In his corner of the shop were many of his creations.

Myck passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010. When I went in a few weeks ago for my haircut all of his painting were gone along with all of his clippers and other fun things he like to share with us. All that was left was a picture of Myck placed on his chair.

After I recorded this edition of Ernesto today I read about the very sad death of Dawn Brancheau, a trainer with 16 years experience at SeaWorld. She was killed today by a killer whale name Tillikum. A former contractor with SeaWorld told the Orlando Sentinel that Tillikum is typically kept isolated from SeaWorld's other killer whales and that trainers were not allowed to get in the water with him because of his violent history.

As much as I have loved going to Sea World for years, perhaps like the circus we should rethink having wild animals caged up for our entertainment.

Charlie and Maria Cardoso are among the millions of Americans who have experienced the misery and embarrassment that come with home foreclosure.

Just one problem: The Massachusetts couple paid for their future retirement home in Spring Hill with cash in 2005, five years before agents for Bank of America seized the house, removed belongings and changed the locks on the doors, according to a lawsuit the couple have filed in federal court.
